Norwich City to ask for £35m in return for Max Aarons’ services
The young star has caught the attention of several top-flight clubs since his emergence with the Championship side and it appears that Norwich are finally ready to part ways with their star for a lucrative price.
Recent reports reveal that
Norwich Citywill allow
Max Aaronsto join
Manchester Unitedonly if the Red Devils agree to pay them £35m in return for the defender’s services.
Aarons, who has been approached by several top European clubs including
Everton,
Bayern Munich, and
Barcelonasince his emergence as one of the most promising talents in Europe, has already declined
Roma’s £20m January offer, reports
The Sun.
Norwich sporting director, Stuart Webber, also confirmed the January offer received from Roma, saying:
“The only interest was in Max. No other players.”
"We decided not to act on that interest, with Max’s blessing I must add, because it was from abroad and wouldn’t have been quite right for him and definitely wasn’t right for us at that time. It was about keeping the squad together.”
Though his side are currently sit in the top of the Championship table with seven points ahead and could bounce back to the
Premier Leaguecompetition, Norwich seems to be finally ready to allow Aarons leave for another club.
Another Norwich City player, who is expected to leave the club in the summer with
Arsenalbeing one of his admirers, is
Emiliano Buendia.
So far Buendia has scored nine goals and gave nine assists in the Championship competition.
