Vincent Kompany: A prominent candidate to coach Bayern after his success with Burnley

Today, a surprising name appeared on the list of candidates to succeed Thomas Tuchel in coaching Bayern Munich, starting from next season. Tuchel left his position at Bayern Munich at the end of the current season, after the team exited without achieving any championships.
Many names have been linked to taking over the leadership of Bayern Munich, such as Zinedine Zidane, Xabi Alonso, and Roberto De Zerbi.
Fabrizio Romano, a European transfer market expert, confirmed that the Belgian Vincent Kompany, coach of Burnley, is a strong candidate to take over the position of technical director of Bayern Munich club.
Kompany was relegated with his team from the Premier League after occupying the 19th position in the Premier League this season.
Romano wrote on his Twitter account: “Bayern Munich is considering the possibility of appointing Kompany and puts him on the list of potential candidates for the position of technical director”.
He explained that the Belgian coach is of interest to several clubs, including Brighton, which is seeking to find a successor to Roberto De Zerbi.
Kompany took over the leadership of Anderlecht, Belgium, after his retirement in 2020, and then took over the coaching of Burnley in 2022, where he led the team to win the title of the English First Division “Championship” and promotion to the Premier League.
