Jesus Analyzes Al-Hilal’s Exceptional Victory Over Al-Ittihad

About the greatness of steadfastness and faith: Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad match writes a new chapter in the history of the Saudi Clasico

Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who oversees Al-Hilal team, confirmed that the confrontation that took place today between his team and Al-Ittihad is considered the hardest so far in the current football season.

Al-Hilal managed to qualify for the golden square in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup after defeating Al-Ittihad with a score of 2-1 in the match that was held this Tuesday evening on the pitch of “The Shining Jewel” stadium.

Jesus praised his players’ performance in the press conference after the match, saying: “I would like to congratulate the players on this wonderful victory, we were well prepared and had superior control of the situation, even though we played for more than sixty minutes with only ten players.”

He added: “We were confident that we would achieve the victory at the right moment, and here is the result, we won the Super Cup and we are heading towards winning the league and the cup.”

He continued: “At the moment we received the goal, our focus was at its peak, and we knew that we had the ability to score the equalizer afterwards.”

Jesus expressed the challenges of playing with ten players, saying: “There is no doubt that playing with ten players is a challenge, especially when the expelled player is an important player like Savic, but the team’s reaction was positive, and it can be said that this was one of the toughest confrontations we had against Al-Ittihad this season.”

The Portuguese coach emphasized the importance of the Clasico match between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, saying: “That match has a special character as each team has its history and fans, our goal is always to reach the final stage regardless of the identity of the competitor, and we are now focusing on achieving our goals and reaping victories.”

Regarding Al-Hilal player Saud Abdul Hamid, Jesus praised his excellent physical abilities, saying: “Saud has exceptional technical and physical capabilities, even in the last minutes of the match he remains able to give strongly, but of course he needs more development, whether in the defensive or offensive side, and he has the ability to achieve significant progress in his performance.”

It is expected that Al-Hilal will face in the final match the winner of the other confrontation between Al-Nassr and Al-Khaleej, which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday.
