Real Madrid Concerned as Dani Carvajal Suffers Injury

The right-back for Real Madrid, Dani Carvajal, added his name to the growing list of injuries for the Royal team after sustaining a muscle injury in his left leg.

Carvajal was forced to exit mid-game against Granada, with Carlo Ancelotti substituting him with Lucas Vazquez at the right-back position.

Following examinations, the club confirmed on Monday that the player is dealing with an injury in the left soleus muscle. ESPN later reported that Carvajal is likely to be sidelined for at least a month.

The official statement from the club regarding the player's injury read, "Following the examinations carried out on our player Dani Carvajal by the medical services of Real Madrid, it has been found that he has an injury to the soleus muscle in his left leg. Developments are being monitored."

With the 31-year-old player now sidelined, Los Blancos are currently without eight players due to injuries. They are currently missing key players such as Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior, and Eder Militao.

Star midfielder Judd Bellingham also suffered a shoulder injury before the international break in November, but he has now recovered and participated in the weekend fixture.

Despite the challenges with injuries, Carlo Ancelotti's team hopes to continue their momentum, currently tied on points with Girona at the top of the table. They face a tough challenge against Real Betis in La Liga next Saturday.
