Carvajal: "I understand it perfectly when you receive a lucrative offer"
Dani Carvajal has expressed his support for Gabri Veiga's decision.
Veiga signed a three-year contract with Saudi Pro League team Al-Ahli on August 20, 2023, despite receiving significant interest from notable European clubs including
Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Napoli.
Dani Carvajal , a teammate of Gabri Veiga in the Spanish national team, says that he understands Veiga's decision to sign a contract with Al-Ahli.
“He is barely 21 years old. I understand it perfectly when you receive a lucrative offer. When I went to Germany, I signed a contract for five years and the first thing I did was buy a house for my parents. I come from a humble neighbourhood, so I get his decision.”
he said.
Veiga scored 11 goals for Celta Vigo in 36 La Liga games last season.
