Howe: "Tonali was magnificent"
In their opening game of the season, Newcastle defeated Aston Villa.
started the new Premier League season with a strong home victory, defeating Aston Villa 5-1. Tonali, Isak, Wilson, and Barnes scored the goals for Newcastle in that game.
Sandro Tonali, Newcastle's new signing, scored the first goal in the sixth minute of the game.
Eddie Howe, after the match, stated on the official Newcastle United website that Tonali was magnificent in this game.
"He was magnificent. The goal, sometimes these things are just meant to happen, and he's arrived in the box and it’s a great finish.
"I'm delighted with his overall performance. He knitted into the midfield very well. He's built a really good relationship with Bruno and the players on the right-hand side. You can see how good he can be."
Newcastle will play against Manchester City in their next game in the Premier League.
