Nagelsmann to wait for PSG and Real Madrid amid Tottenham's interest

After being surprisingly sacked from Bayern Munich last week, Tottenham who also dismissed Antonio Conte appeared as a likely destination for Julian Nagelsmann. However, the German coach is reportedly eager to take a break before his next job.

Julian Nagelsmann was sacked as the club's head coach and was immediately replaced by Thomas Tuchel after winning just five of Bayern's last 10 Bundesliga matches. Nagelsmann was heavily linked with the Tottenham job after the north London club parted ways with Antonio Conte on Sunday.

However, according to the

Evening Standard

, the German coach wants time to consider his options. Chelsea is also considering Nagelsmann while a switch to Real Madrid or PSG would more likely fit him. Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with Brazil’s vacant job while PSG’s Christophe Galtier’s future is in doubt after his unsuccessful Champions League season.

Despite early reports that claimed there were problems between the players and Nagelsmann, Joshua Kimmich clarifies that Nagelsmann did not lose the trust of his dressing room.

Kimmich said, "

We won only 5 games out of 10. But I can say that he didn’t lose the dressing room. I’ve already been through a few coaching changes – there was nothing to indicate internally that he lost the dressing room or that players are unhappy. We all were surprised."
