De Jong ‘very calm’ amid Man Utd interest
Barcelona midfielder Frankie de Jong insists that he is happy at Camp Nou amid Manchester united rumors
Manchester United has been linked with Frankie de Jong practically from when he joined
Barcelonafrom Ajax. It seems the rumors are not going away for the upcoming summer either.
However, Frankie de Jong isn’t fazed with the rumors and claims he is happy at Barcelona.
The Dutchman was quizzed on his future once again by RAC1, quoted by Fabrizio Romano, to which he responded:
"I’m very calm here, very happy at Barca."
He added, doubling down on his position at Camp Nou: "I want to stay at Barcelona for many more years."
Despite his claims of being happy at Barca, De Jong has been linked with Man Utd time and time and again. The move was reportedly close in the summer but Man Utd were unwilling to pay the £17 million de Jong is owed in deferred wages on top of a transfer fee.
