Xavi unsatisfied with narrow victory and concerned about Dembele’s injury
Thought Pedri scored the winner when Barcelona faced Girona on Saturday, the Blaugrana coach was unsatisfied with the way his team performed.
Barcelona was the winner in the Catalan derby as they moved past Girona with a goal from their Golden Boy winner, Pedri. However, Blaugrana boss wasn’t satisfied with the way his team performed.

Barcelona, the midfielder did what Barca’s host of attackers couldn’t as they had an underwhelming performance against a Girona side that managed to contain them thoroughly. Xavi was happy with the 3 points after the match, but he admitted that his team still needed work.
“We must dare to do more things in the attack. We have generated many chances under high pressure, but we have not been completely accurate in attack. We need to be calmer in the opponent’s half.”
Xavi admitted.
“I leave satisfied with the three points, but we have to improve.”
Barca’s injury prone winger, Ousmane Dembele came off the pitch with yet another injury, which Xavi has since confirmed is a muscular one.
“There is an injury. (Dembele) has noticed something, so surely there is an injury. He’s noticed a quadriceps injury.”
