Man United target Jonathan David welcomes a move to the Premier League

Scoring 9 goals in 15 games for Lille this season, the 22-year-old has attracted the attention of Manchester United and Arsenal. The Canada international opens up about a possible move hailing the Premier League as the best league in the world.

The Canadian confirmed he expects to play in the Premier League soon. He told

La Voix du Nord

:

"I think it's possible, very possible.

"I don't know if I can find myself anywhere other than the Premier League. It could well be the Premier League.

"It's a very nice atmosphere. In England, when I watch the matches, every stadium is full each time. As a player, it motivates you even more."

Lille reported the signing of David on a five-year contract on August 11, 2020. David's reported fee was €30 million, making him Canada's most expensive transfer to date.
