Barcelona offers Hector Bellerin to Roma despite return after 11 years

Despite a long-awaited return to Nou Camp last summer which saw the La Masia graduate rejoin the club after 11 years, it seems the 27-year-old might head out for a second time as the club has reportedly offered him to Mourinho's Roma.

Hector Bellerin

was a La Masia graduate but joined the Gunners as a part of the deal that saw Cesc Fabregas go the other way to Barcelona and had been with the Gunners from the age of 16.

Having risen from

Arsenal

’s academy to the first team during Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery era, Bellerin had lost his place in the squad under Mikel Arteta and spent the last season on loan at Real Betis where he won the Copa del Rey. He subsequently joined

Barcelona

in the summer to serve as a backup option for the right-back position.

However, according to Nicolo Schira and

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, the Blaugrana has offered the 27-year-old Bellerin to

Roma

, who are looking for a replacement for Rick Karsdorp. Bellerin provided five assists in 32 games across all competitions last season on loan at Real Betis, and after failing to live up to expectations at Barca, the Spaniard might jump at the chance of recapturing his form at Italy's capital.
