World Cup 2022 Predictions
Brazil became the first South American side to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with
a 1-0 victoryover Colombia in November 2021.
Tite’s side have plenty of attacking talent within their squad with the likes of Neymar Jr, Vinicius Jr and Roberto Firmino expected to be named in the squad.
However, Brazil have also been impressive at the back and despite being drawn alongside Serbia and Switzerland, they should easily progress to the knock-out stages of the competition and it’s hard to see them slipping up.
Argentina are amidst a 35-match unbeaten streak and haven’t lost a competitive game since 2019. This is likely to be Lionel Messi’s final appearance at the World Cup and the PSG man will be keen to lead his nation to glory in Qatar.
It will take something special to end their impressive run of form.
France have struggled in 2022 and there are a number of injury doubts within their squad. Didier Deschamps’ side have looks out-of-sorts in the Nations League and although they do tend to improve at major tournaments, they cannot be backed with any confidence.
There are flaws in Germany, England and Spain’s recent performances whereas Portugal are still overshadowed by the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Uruguay at potential dark horses whereas Denmark are vastly underrated by the bookmakers and have beaten some decent sides in 2022.
Prediction – Brazil to Win the 2022 World Cup @ 9/2
E/W – Denmark @ 25/1 and Uruguay @ 40/1
