Pulisic: "I'm still extremely happy with Chelsea"

Christian Pulisic has said that he is "happy" at Premier League giants Chelsea, which suggests that he will stay there.

It has been speculated that the

USMNT

player will not remain at Stamford Bridge because of the intense competition for his position in the highly regarded Blues' roster.

However,

Christian Pulisic

scored in his team's most recent Premier League game after being reinstated to the starting lineup. He is keen to emphasise that he is happy and at home in west London despite what outsiders may believe.

When asked by GQ about an April 2020 social media post in which he wore the

Borussia Dortmund

jersey, Pulisic said,

“I made a TikTok with my dog not thinking much of it, just wearing my, you know, my former team's training shirt that I still had. Yeah, it's funny. It doesn't mean anything really. I'm still extremely happy with the team I'm on now. So I'm happy.”

The United States international joined Chelsea in 2019 from Dortmund, and he has since played 125 times for the club, scoring 26 goals and helping them win the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the

FIFA Club World Cup

.

On Sunday, Graham Potter's fourth-place Aston Villa will host Chelsea in the Premier League. The Blues are fifth in the table.
