Official: Steve Cooper extends his contract with Nottingham until 2025
Nottingham Forest have extended Steve Cooper's contract till 2025.
Steve Cooper
's job was apparently in jeopardy after eight games in the Premier League, but
Nottingham Foresthave decided to stick with the former
Swansea
manager despite their poor performance.
Forest recently announced hiring Filippo Giraldi as their new sporting director.
Although Cooper led Forest to promotion from the Championship via the play-offs last season, he has completely remade the team this summer by bringing in 23 new players.
Forest's revamped squad had lost five straight after picking up four points in their first three games.
