Kjaer joins the list of Milan's injured players

The international break has been quite devastating for Milan, with news that Simon Kjaer has an ankle injury and Mike Maignan is out for a month.

Mike Maignan

will be out for a month, and

Simon Kjaer

hurt his ankle. Stefano Pioli has already had problems, as

Sandro Tonali

and Theo Hernandez both got hurt in the Nations League.

Le Parisien says that Maignan has left the France camp because he has hurt his calf muscle, which will keep him out of action for a month. If this is true, Milan could take Maignan off the Champions League roster and bring in

Ciprian Tatarusanu,

since Antonio Mirante is the only other goalkeeper they have.

Now, Kjaer has hurt his ankle while

Denmark

was playing Croatia. Danish coach Kasper Hjulmand has said that it doesn't sound like a big deal, and Kjaer will stay with the team for now. Even if he is not sent back to the Milan camp immediately, he will have more tests and will likely be rested for the final Nations League group game.
