Immobile added to Italy's long injury list

Italy will host England at the San Siro without several of their most influential stars.

Before the match between

Italy

and

England

,

Ciro Immobile

was also injured and will not be able to accompany his team.

The Lazio star recently suffered a muscle injury and was left out of the Azzurri's squad for the match against the Three Lions at the San Siro. But Immobile is not the only Italian injured for this match and several other influential players will not be present in this match.

Sandro Tonali, who could not recover from his injury, left the Azzurri camp today and will be absent from the match against England. Marco Verratti, Matteo Politano, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Davide Calabria will not be able to accompany Roberto Mancini's side in this match.

Italy, who won last year's Euro 2020 final against England, can reach the Nations League final if they repeat this victory. England are at the bottom of Group 3 and will be relegated if they lose in Milan.

Italy, who failed to advance to the World Cup with a defeat against North Macedonia, hopes to regain its lost image with success in the National League. On the other hand, England has not managed to win in its last 4 matches and Gareth Southgate is under severe pressure from the fans of the Three Lions.
