Udinese showed interest in signing Ronaldo

The Portuguese star tried hard to leave Old Trafford in the summer and it looks like that will continue in the winter.

While

Cristiano Ronaldo

tried his best to leave

Manchester United

during the summer,

Udinese

are now said to have made a move to sign him.

The Portuguese star was hoping to find a way to leave the Red Devils in the Champions League and join a team in Europe's top club competition. The Ballon d'Or winner could not reach an agreement with another team and was forced to stay at Old Trafford, but Marco Silvestri asked him to return to Italy and play for Udinese this time.

Yesterday, in an interview, Ronaldo talked about his high motivation to continue football and participate in Euro 2024. He said:

“My ambition is great. I want to be present at the World Cup and European Championships. I feel very motivated. My journey is not finished yet.”

Marco Silvestri reacted to this interview and wrote:

“Come to Udinese.”

In response to Silvestri's comment, the Udinese club also used an eye emoji, which shows their interest and enthusiasm in recruiting Ronaldo.

Manchester United is currently in fifth place in the Premier League and with the many changes they made in the summer, they hope to be able to fight for the Premier League title and return to the Champions League. Ronaldo's contract expires in the summer of next year, so he will either leave the team in January or join another team as a free agent in the summer of 2023.
