Former Arsenal striker and current Lyon player Alexandre Lacazette reportedly will have surgery on his squeaky voice after a video of him went viral.
The French forward's post-game interview performance, in which he struggled to make himself heard, generated much consternation on social media following his team's Ligue 1 match against

A microscopic tumor on the 31-year-vocal old's cords, called a polyp, is reportedly going to be removed during the international break, as reported by L'Equipe.
According to reports,
Alexandre Lacazettehas been dealing with a throat ailment since the summer, when he returned to
Lyon
as a free agent after his contract with Arsenal expired, and has been waiting for an appropriate time to have surgery.
After Sunday's match against
PSG
, Lyon will take a two-week vacation, giving Lacazette time to get checked out by a doctor and give his hoarse voice a rest. Lacazette has scored four goals in seven games so far this season.
