Arkadiusz Milik chose No. 14 for Juventus because of Thiery Henry

The new player for Juventus

, says he missed Italy and says that Thierry Henry was the reason he chose the No. 14 shirt.

The Poland international has moved to the Allianz Stadium on loan for the first time. He spent a year and a half at

Marseille

, where he played 55 games and scored 30 goals. He is now back in Italy.

The former Napoli striker said on official

social media, "I am so happy to be here; today is a great day for me. I've joined one of the best teams in the world, and I'm also thrilled to be back in Italy. I have lived here for four years, so I am very happy. The team already has a style of play and a way of thinking about how to play. I hope to grow with them and make a difference, getting better and learning something new every day."

"It was a change for me. It was a different league with a different style," the 28-year-old said. "It was a great experience, but as I've already said, I missed Italy a little bit, so I'm glad to be back." Milik chose the No. 14 because, as he put it, "many others were already taken."
