added that to a brilliant attacking move from Rayan Ait-Nouri. His celebration confused many as he got a bag behind the goal and took out an eye patch and a pirate’s hook.

When quizzed about the pirate reference by Wolves' official website, the Mexico striker said:

“I was planning it since pre-season these kinds of things. I hope I can score more and do it more times. You need to wait for me to score again and let’s see what’s coming next."

Jimenez’s first goal gave Wolves the path to grab a 2-1 win against Preston. The Premier League side secured a safe passage into the next round where they will lock horns with Leeds at home.

The player has had a hard time rediscovering his form since his skull was hurt in the battle against Arsenal in 2020. However, he has now returned to prolific form and is impressing many as he is back on the scoresheet in the league.
