Official: Isco joins Sevilla on a free transfer from Real Madrid
Spanish midfielder Isco left Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of June and has long been linked with a move to the Seville side to reunite with his former manager, Julen Lopetegui.
After weeks of negotiations,
Sevilla confirmedthey have signed the Spain international on a free transfer as
Iscowould undergo medical tests on Monday, signing a two-year deal with the Seville side.
The 30-year-old joined
Real Madridfrom Malaga in 2013, contributing 53 goals and 56 assists in a total of 353 appearances he made for the Los Blancos before falling down the pecking order when Carlo Ancelotti returned. Isco has won three La Liga titles and five Champions League trophies with the Los Blancos as well as making 38 appearances for Spain's national side.
