Everton and Lille are still talking about bringing midfielder Amadou Onana to Goodison Park. Everton is also trying to bring Idrissa Gana Gueye back to the club.

If Onana is to play in Saturday's Premier League opener against
Chelsea, the deal has to be done by Friday at noon.
Lille
and West Ham had agreed on a fee of £33.5 million, but there was a problem with the player's personal terms.
Lille bought Onana from
Hamburg
for €7m (£5.9m) last summer, so they stand to make a big profit on the Belgium international who played in France's Ligue 1 last year with 11 starts and 21 substitutes appearances.
Lille doesn't want to sell the player, but they know they might not get a deal like this for him again. The deal to bring Gueye back to Goodison Park from Paris Saint-Germain is also getting very close to being finalized. The midfielder played for Everton for three years after coming from Aston Villa.
