Alex Telles traveled to Spain ahead of his move to Sevilla

The Brazilian defender went to La Liga and will play for Sevilla from next season.

Manchester United

defender

Alex Telles

has traveled to Spain to finalize his move to

Sevilla

.

Telles, who could not find a place for himself in Old Trafford, finally decided to leave this stadium. He went to Sevilla and the Spanish club hired him on loan with a permanent purchase clause at the end of the loan period. The Spanish side will also pay all the rights during the loan transfer.

As soon as he arrived at Manchester United, Erik ten Hag decided to strengthen the left side of his defense by recruiting Tyrell Malacia, and he became the Dutch coach's first signing.

United signed Telles from Porto in October 2020 for €18 million and his contract runs until 2024 with a one-year extension clause. The Brazilian defender played 50 games for Manchester United and his only goal came in the Champions League group matches against Villarreal.

Telles has also played six games for his country and has now joined Sevilla, who finished fourth in La Liga last season and will be in the Champions League.
