Ramsey’s Juventus contract terminated by mutual consent

The ex-Gunners midfielder has hit free agency when his contract with the Bianconeri was terminated by mutual consent.

Aaron Ramsey

is a free agent now as his deal with

Juventus

had been terminated by mutual consent. The Wales international made a move to the Serie A side in 2019 when his Arsenal deal reached its end. However, he climbed down the pecking order last season, appearing in only three Serie A games before joining Rangers on a loan contract.

The former

Arsenal

midfielder played in seven games for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership; however, his spell there will be remembered by the important penalty shoot-out he missed in the final of the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt as his side lost the game.

The 31-year-old went back to Turin following the loan spell as there was still one year left on his deal. However, the Bianconeri have now announced that they are parting ways with the player.

He has been linked with a move back to some of his old clubs, like Cardiff City. Moreover, Nottingham Forest are also interested in acquiring his services.

Ramsey will be eager to play in order to get ready for the World Cup in Qatar with Wales. Meanwhile, Juve are eyeing

Paris Saint-Germain

’s Leandro Paredes, who played for Sporting Lisbon on loan last season and the Ligue 1 side might want to cash in on him.
