Juve’s Allegri: Roma the right club for Dybala

The Juve manager said that the Giallorossi are the “right club” for Paulo Dybala after the latter confirmed the signing of the player.

After months of being linked with a move to

Inter

,

Roma

penned a contract with

Paulo Dybala

on Wednesday.

And

Massimiliano Allegri

, who brought the Argentina international to

Juventus

, said that Roma are the right club for the player and he wished him well.

Talking to DAZN, Allegri said:

“I believe it is the right club for him and I wish him the best of luck. He is a player who has given a lot to Juventus and I think he will do very well at Roma.”

Quizzed to explain the reason behind him feeling the Giallorossi are the right club, he said:

“He is a very technical player, alongside [Tammy] Abraham up front. Then you have [manager José] Mourinho, who is very good.”

Dybala joined the Bianconeri in 2015 when Allegri’s first season at the helm ended.

They won the title and cup double during their first season together, doing the same in the next two seasons as well. They even made their way to the Champions League final in 2017.

During the final season of Allegri’s first time with Juve, he just won the Serie A title but did not get any trophy last season when Allegri returned to the club.
