Milan fan who stole Serie A medal: Thank you, Stefano Pioli

Stefano Pioli's Serie A winner's medal was stolen, and the fan who did it seems to have posted about it on social media.

Stefano Pioli

was holding the medal during the chaotic celebrations at the

Mapei Stadium

in Reggio Emilia on Sunday night. It was the first Serie A title of his career.

In later interviews, Pioli said that he had lost the medal because he thought someone had taken it from him in the crowd of fans. The thief may have been caught because he posted a picture of himself holding a medal with the words "Thanks Pioli" on his Instagram Stories. It remains to be seen if the person who took the medal will give it back to Pioli.

If not, the Lega

Serie A

has already tweeted that they will give the coach a copy if they can't find the original.

In the meantime, Pioli made sure he would always have a reminder of

Milan

's Scudetto win. Today, he got a tattoo on the inside of his arm of the Tricolore shield with the number 19, since this is Milan's 19th Serie A title.
