Jamal Musiala tested positive for coronavirus

The German star will be absent in the next two games of his team.

Bayern Munich

have confirmed that midfielder

Jamal Musiala

has been tested for coronavirus.

The 18-year-old midfielder was absent from training and the club announced on Wednesday that his Covid-19 test was positive. Musiala is currently in quarantine and will miss Saturday's match against Bochum, as well as the Champions League match against

Salzburg

.

Musiala has played in 27 of Bayern Munich's 30 games this season, and his absence will be a severe blow to Julian Nagelsmann. The German midfielder has a direct impact on the team's 10 goals - 6 goals and 4 assists - and in this regard, he is ranked sixth in the Bundesliga. He also had 53 complete dribbles and is in third place after Leroy Sane and Alphonso Davies.

This is not the first time that Nagelsmann has faced the challenge of missing the key players of his team and it is expected that this time he will be able to manage the difficult situation.
