PSG are back in our list again, which is no suprise. The last few years has seen them spend eye-watering amounts of money. The fact that their second biggest transfer is the third-most expensive transfer in the world, of all time, says it all.

Mbappe was somewhat of a prodigy as a young player, excelling in football for both Monaco and France, his international team. He turned a lot of heads with his breathtaking playing style and it was that that led PSG to put down the big bucks for him in 2017.

2019 saw one of the most unlikely and ludicrously expensive transfers for a couple of reasons: the clubs doing the business and the player himself.
