Bryan Gil close to sign for Nice on loan

The former Sevilla star failed to live up to expectations in the Premier League and is considering a change.

Spanish national team striker

Bryan Gil

has been linked with a move to

Nice

and they are planning to sign him on loan.

The former Sevilla and Eibar star failed to perform as expected in England after moving to

Tottenham

in the summer. Gil, who is 20 years old, left for Spurs after a great season with Eibar on loan and scored 4 goals in 28 games for this team.

However, the injury affected his performance in the Premier League and he played only 8 games in this league, most of which he was a substitute. Under new Tottenham boss Antonio Conte, he played just 35 minutes and now L'Equipe claims he intends to go to Nice to escape the current situation.

The Spurs have no plans to sell Gill, who has a contract with the club until 2026, but his six-month loan spell could greatly help his growth. Nice are currently second in the French league and have had good results so far this season.
