Torino turned down Newcastle's €30M offer for Gleison Bremer

Newcastle United are willing to invest €30 million to sign Gleison Bremer in January, but Torino are close to reaching an agreement on contract renewal.

The center-back solidified his reputation even further in a 4-0 Serie A win against Fiorentina, where he completely defused on-form scorer and fellow

Premier League

transfer candidate Dusan Vlahovic.

Newcastle has made a €30 million bid for the Brazilian during the January transfer window, according to Corriere Granata.

Torino, on the other hand, has no interest in losing him in the middle of the season and is close to signing to an extension until June 2025.

When Bremer becomes available this summer, his price tag might rise much higher as a result.

Milan, Napoli, Everton, and Chelsea are among the clubs interested in signing the 24-year-old.

Bremer's current agreement expires in June 2023, and he has two goals and an assist in 19

Serie A

matches this season.
