Torres provides injury and Barca registration update

The Spain international has provided an update on injury and squad registration after moving away from the City.

Ferran Torres

made a move to

Barcelona

on a deal worth €55million from

Manchester City

and the Blaugrana have officially presented him to the fans at Camp Nou today.

Torres was not playing in his country in the last two years, enjoying his impressive spell with the

Premier League

side. However, he was presented with a chance to come back to his country and play for Barca under the reign of Xavi Hernandez.

The problem is that Torres is dealing with an injury at the moment as he suffered a broken foot this season; however, he will return soon as he is making a lot of progress.

The injury is going very well, within the time scale, I am now recovering my physical level,”

he said during his presentation today.

There is another problem with the player’s salary and until Barcelona find a solution, he cannot be registered.

 “

I am totally relaxed,”

he added.

“They are doing everything possible, they are working on it, but I am relaxed and I know that in the end it can be done.”
