Dalma Maradona not allowed in Napoli’s stadium

The daughter of late Napoli legend, Diego Armando Maradona, is in Naples to shoot a documentary about his father but she has not been able to get into the Stadio Maradona.

passed away on November 25, 2020 due to a heart attack.

decided to rename their stadium to Stadio Maradona as a tribute to their late legend.

Daughter of Maradona, Dalma, flew to Naples from Argentina in order to shoot a documentary about the World Cup champion. However, as the Naples City council has forbidden entering he stadium on Thursday and Friday, Dalma was unable to step into the stadium named after his father.

“It seems impossible to me that I cannot enter the stadium named after my father,”

Dalma Maradona told La Repubblica in comments carried by Calciomercato.com.

Reports suggest that she can start shooting her documentary in the stadium from December 22, however, she is due to return to homeland, Argentina, before that date.
