Kimmich misses Augsburg match after being quarantined

The German star, who has not yet been vaccinated, will miss his team's match.

Bayern Munich

midfielder

Joshua Kimmich

missed Friday's game against

Augsburg

due to the possibility of contracting the Corona virus.

Julian Nagelsmann announced on Thursday that Kimmich had not attended his team's training sessions and was waiting for the result of his PCR test. On Friday, the Bundesliga champions confirmed that Kimmich, Niklas Sule and Josip Stanisic are in quarantine.

Kimmich had previously stated that he had not received the Covid-19 vaccine and was currently awaiting the outcome of the vaccine to be decided by others. In the German national team, he had a close encounter with Niklas Sule, and after returning to Munich, the Covid-19 Sule test was positive.

As a result, Kimmich was barred from training and is now in quarantine to determine his condition. He will miss tomorrow's match and will not be able to accompany his team for about 10 days if his test is positive.
