PSG midfielder Verratti picks up injury during 0-0 against Marseille
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti was forced off the pitch after he sustained a hip injury during their clash with Olympique Marseille.
The former
Pescaramidfielder picked up the injury just before the break, replaced by
Idrissa
Gueye
. The 28-year-old midfielder grimaced after a duel with
Mattéo Guendouzi
.
The Italy international seemed to have been hit above the hip. The medical staff of
PSGalso immediately put an ice pack in this place. Hopefully for the capital club that the Italian international, often subject to physical glitches, is not too seriously affected.
Verratti has made six appearances across all competitions with the Ligue 1 giants so far this season.
