Henderson wants a loan move after losing his place to De Gea

The young English goalkeeper is looking for a club where he can play regularly.

Manchester United

goalkeeper Dean Henderson intends to leave the club due to a lack of football.

The former Sheffield United goalkeeper became the main goalkeeper of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season. However, with de Gea performing well this season and especially with Mark Nobel's penalty save in the final minutes of the game against West Ham, the English goalie lost his place. De Gea has had some good performances so far and it has been difficult for Henderson to find a place in the squad.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who recently contracted Covid-19, has not yet fully recovered from his illness. He will return to action soon, but will be a long way from the Red Devils' starting line-up.

According to the Sun, he is already looking for a loan split from Manchester United in January and has started putting pressure on the club. He has previously been on loan at Stockport, Grimsby and Shrewsbury and has had a successful loan spell at Sheffield United. It remains to be seen what his situation will be in competition with de Gea.
