The Granata captain suffered an injury against Fiorentina, but the club confirmed that his bone was not fractured and that he is using the international break period for recovery. After returning from Azzurri, Belotti underwent medical tests that showed that his injury was not serious.
“The clinical and instrumental tests which Andrea Belotti underwent – who returned yesterday from the retreat with the national team – confirmed the results of the severe bruise that occurred during the match against Fiorentina,”
the club wrote in an official statement.
“The player has already started the therapeutic path of recovery. The prognosis will be defined according to the clinical evolution.”
