Leandro Paredes: Juventus eye Paris Saint-Germain midfielder
Juventus are eyeing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes as a replacement for Arthur Melo while the Brazilian is recovering from his knee surgery.
The Bianconeri have recently confirmed that
Arthur Melo is expected to miss the start of the new seasonand will be away for about three months following knee surgery.
The 24-year-old suffered a post-traumatic injury of the soft tissue between the tibia and fibula in his right leg in February 2020 during a clash with Atalanta.
According to reports from La Repubblica, the Old Lady have set their sights to sign

on loan to fill in the void created by Melo’s absence.
The 27-year-old Argentina international is no stranger to Serie A as he had spells at
Chievo
,
Empoli
, and
Roma
before his €23m switch to
Zenit St Petersburg
in 2017.
He then joined PSG for €40m in January 2019 and his current deal with the Ligue 1 giants runs until June 2023.
