RB Leipzig set to sign Andre Silva
The Portuguese star hopes to help Leipzig reach the Bundesliga title with his goals.
Leipzig is looking to strengthen the squad with their new manager, Jesse Marsch, and with the signing of Andre Silva, they have made the most significant summer purchase. Silva will leave Eintracht Frankfurt for 23 million euros (a total of around 35 million euros) and set to sign for Leipzig.
Silva scored 28 goals for Frankfurt last season, which has only been bested by Robert Lewandowski, Aubameyang, and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the previous decade. Leipzig hopes he can repeat this performance in the team so that they can fight for the Bundesliga title with more strength.
Last season, Leipzig had the best defensive line in the league, but their offensive line was the sixth-best offensive line in the league. With a salary of € 4 million a season, Silva is tasked with strengthening Leipzig's attack and increasing the team's scoring record.
