Granada’s Soldado pens a contract with Levante
The veteran striker has penned a new contract at the age of 36 and is remaining put in La Liga.
Roberto Soldado
has pulled off impressive performances for
Granadalast season as they went on to make club history in Europa League as well as reaching the quarter-finals. They have ended the La Liga season sitting ninth on the table.
The 36-year-old’s goals were of great importance, as he met the back of the net 14 times and contributed two assists.
His display attracted the attention of
Levanteboss Paco Lopez, whose side had a fine season themselves as they reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals and ended up 14th on the table.
The former Real Madrid striker has signed a contract with Levante that will keep him for two years until he turns 38. He will go back to his home city and share his experience with a side that pays a lot of attention to experienced star Jose Luis Morales.
However, it is still unknown how much he will play for his new side.
