Henderson & Maguire set to start for England against Czech Republic

Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire are expected to face against the Czech Republic in England's last Group D match on Tuesday night, whereas Jude Bellingham may fill in for Mason Mount if he is unable to play.

Henderson

and

Maguire

have yet to play at the Euros after being carefully controlled following their recovery from injury, but coach Gareth Southgate likes to offer them playing time before the last-16 encounter next week.

Before the Czech Republic match on Tuesday, the Three Lions qualified for the knockout rounds thanks to results on Monday night; a win at Wembley on Tuesday would put Southgate's team on top, ensuring a showdown with the Group F runners-up in the last 16 on June 29.

Meanwhile, the Football Association is awaiting word from Public Health England about whether

Ben Chilwell

and

Mason Mount

should remain in self-isolate following their near encounter with

Billy Gilmour

Southgate is looking to start Bellingham against the Czech Republic if Mount is unavailable on Tuesday night.

Despite the team's underperformance against Scotland on Friday, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden might maintain their spots in the starting Line up.

Mount and Chilwell are both doubtful for Tuesday's match against the Czech Republic after being placed in quarantine as a safety measure after interacting with Scotland player Gilmour, who contracted the COVID-19.

Since arriving in London after winning the

Champions League

final in Porto on May 29, the three Chelsea players have not seen each other.

Mount and Chilwell, along with the rest of Southgate's team, both tested negative for Covid-19 on Monday, but it's uncertain if they'll be fit to play in front of the Czech Republic.

Maguire has been out for six weeks with an ankle injury, but the Man Utd captain is optimistic about his chances at

Euro 2020

.

"I'm feeling good," Maguire told the Lions' Den. "Obviously [after] the ankle injury, it's getting stronger, I'm getting more confident.

"The more sessions I do, the more games I play, I'm sure I'll get more confidence - and that's the thing with these type of injuries.

"I think it's just about building the confidence. It's all stable now and I'm available and ready to go. Any Euro match is really important to go out there and try and win the football match.

"The boys have put ourselves in a great position in the group - four points from two games - although obviously we want to win every football match, so we'd like to be on six.

"But it's still in a strong position and now it's another big game against the Czechs. It's one we're looking forward to and we go there and try to get three points."
