Dortmund unwilling to let Julian Brandt go for less than €25m

Although Lazio have shown genuine interest in Julian Brandt, Borussia Dortmund are not willing to let him go for less than €25 million and it seems Lazio can not afford him.

Borussia Dortmund

have asked €25 million for

Julian Brandt

and are unwilling to compromise. It was the price they paid to bring him in from Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2019.

Although Brandt has by no means a disaster in his two seasons at Borussia Dortmund, he has nevertheless disappointed with his long goal-scoring droughts and prolonged periods of suspect form.

Brandt has also lost his place on the national team and seen his market value fall from €50 million to the price Borussia Dortmund are asking for. However,

Lazio

head coach

Mauricio Sarri

has a genuine interest in the 35-times-capped former German national team player.

The last time Lazio concluded a transfer in the price Borussia Dortmund are now asking for was twelve years ago and it seems they are not going to do it again now and Borussia Dortmund are not ready to let him go for any less than €25 million.

There could also be a potential move to the Premiership as EPL clubs Amy still be able to afford him if Borussia Dortmund are not willing to compromise.

The latest transfermarket update saw Brandt’s value fall further down to even €20 million.
