Romero will part ways with Manchester United

Manchester United will let eight players go away and keeps negotiating with Mata.

Manchester United

has given the list of players that will leave the clubs, and two goalkeepers are among these players.

Sergio Romero

and

Joel Pereira

are two goalkeepers that will not be at Old Trafford next season.

All the teams announce their list of retained players, and this year’s biggest names on Manchester United’s retained list are Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira, and all other retained players are from the youth team.

Meanwhile, the club is said to be negotiating with

Juan Mata

as the player’s contract with the Red Devils comes to an end this summer.

Romero has been away from the starting list since Dean Henderson’s return to the club, and his representative had tried to find another team for him before in the last two transfer windows, but the Argentinian stayed at Old Trafford. He hasn’t played a single game all season despite having 61 appearances since joining the club in 2015.

The other goalkeeper leaving the club is Pereira, who has made only one senior appearance for Manchester United and has been away on six loan spells most recent one was his time at Huddersfield Town. 

The other players on the released list are goalkeeper Jacob Carney, midfielder Mark Helm, defender Lestyn Hughes, midfielder Arnau Puigmal, defender Max Taylor and midfielder Aliou Traore.
