Inter's Darmian: 'As long as we win games, everything is fine'

Inter's Serie A objective is getting closer, according to Matteo Darmian, following their 1-0 win over Hellas Verona.

Ex-Manchester United striker scored the game-winning goal against Ivan Juric's men, now Nerazzurri only need two more wins to claim

Scudetto

.

"We knew it was a difficult game. It's difficult to face Verona. They are aggressive and play good football. The result was the only thing that mattered. We picked up three points, and the target is now closer," the 31-year-old Darmian told DAZN.

"We are feeling well, we train to be ready and live these emotions, we are happy today, the three points were the most important things, today. It's a crucial win.

"Each of us works hard during the week, the coach always wants us to remain focused. In such a long and challenging season, everyone is important, I feel the trust of the coach and my teammates and everything becomes easier.

"Lautaro and Darmian are better than me at scoring goals. As long as we win games, everything is fine."
