Tottenham favourites to sign with Sam Johnstone

Spurs are leading the competition for signing with the West Brom shot-stopper, based on recent reports.

has been enjoying great form this season as he is helping his side avoid relegation.

The 28-year-old has been a hectic man in the box this season, having pulled off more saves than any other league keeper which has seen him be called up for the World Cup qualifiers.

His contract is due to reach its expiration in a year and

report that West Brom may be agree with a £10 million transfer fee.

are also eyeing Johnstone, who started as a Manchester United academy player. He has featured in 100 games for the Baggies.

Having shown an impressive performance in the Premier League this season, Johnstone can be optimistic about top-flight football should West Brom fall into the relegation zone.
