Western United coach praised his attacking line

Western United won a crucial victory at this point in the season.

boss Mark Rudan praised his side's performance following their 4-1 win over Macarthur.

In one of the most important matches of their season, Western United went against Macarthur today and managed to win a very good victory in this match. Guarrotxena scored the first goal for his team and then two goals from Berisha and one goal from Dylan Pierias against the only goal of the Derbyshire brought victory to Western United. After the game, the Western coach praised the performance of his team's strikers.

"At the end of the day, when (Guarrotxena's) driving at players, running forward, you've got the amount of freedom that you want,"

coach Mark Rudan said.

"You want to slip someone in, you slip in, you want to run with the ball and drive, you drive.

"You want to shoot from 40 metres like he did today - that's exaggerating - you shoot.

"You've got to give these players freedom and trust them in the attacking third."

Macarthur manager, Ante Milicic told reporters:

"We started well in the second half, we had a couple of chances but they're a difficult team to get past and also (a) threat in transition.

"They were very clinical, they scored their chances and in the end, it wasn't our day."
