"With such a squad and considering it's Inter's only remaining objective this season, I know he wants to win.

"I like his mentality and I know that he believes it's possible to win the title.

"He tries to keep the tensions away because he knows that the team does not need further pressure."

Inzaghi likewise proceeded to preclude the chance of him assuming responsibility for Inter later on, given his

"Even if Lazio played a good game, Inter remain a great team," Pippo said.

"I know Simone cared a lot about this match, he went into it off the back of six consecutive league wins and wanted to continue that run.

"It must be acknowledged that Lazio lacked Luis Felipe and Stefan Radu, it would be like Inter doing without Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni.

"Lukaku made the difference and that is what he was signed for.

"Inter played the match that they had to play, it was a match between two great teams."

Inzaghi likewise conceded that Inter should battle for the Serie A trophy.

"Inter are the strongest in Serie A together with Juventus.

"Having no other competitions to play in, they have a duty to fight to the end for the Scudetto due to the strength and coach that they have.

"It will be a good season until the end of the season, also thanks to AC Milan."

Inter will play their most significant fixture of the term when they face AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.
