Real Betis install 5G connectivity in the stadium
Real Betis are the first team in Spanish football to add 5G connectivity to their stadium which will be completed by April.
An agreement with company Cellnex – an independent operator of wireless broadcasting telecommunications infrastructures – has been signed by the team last summer.
5G connectivity will be available throughout the stadium, providing fast speed even when it hosts 60,000 fans.
4G signal often grows overwhelmed when the stadium is crowded.
Fans will be able to scan tickets to fasten the entrance process.
The possibility of buying items from the shop and ordering food and drink will be provided for the supporters.
