Balogun will stay at Arsenal - Arteta

Balogun has good offers from other teams and as his contract expires, his chances of leaving have increased.

Arsenal

boss Michel Arteta has expressed confidence that Folarin Balogun will extend his contract with Arsenal.

The 19-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal and is rumored to be moving to another team next season. The Gunners are working hard to keep him in their squad, and Arteta has insisted that Balogun will stay at Arsenal, despite rumors of his departure.

“I’m still very positive that Flo is going to stay with us and it’s what we’re trying to do as a club, and it’s what I’m trying to do as a manager,”

Arteta told reporters

“As far as I know from last week, the player wants to be here, so I’m positive. I think he’s made some big progress in a few months.”

Balogun joined Arsenal's academy at the age of eight, during which time he showed great potential to reach the first team. He signed his first official contract with the club in 2019.
