Peter Gulacsi reacts to guessworks over his RB Leipzig future

RB Leipzig shot-stopper Peter Gulacsi states 'a lot would have to happen' for him to leave Red Bull Arena.

Peter Gulacsi has been rumored to move away from

d

side RB Leipzig after his representative came out and uncovered that the goalie has a release clause in his contract that will be activated this mid year.

Borussia Dortmund

is among the clubs perceived to be keen on getting Gulacsi; however, the 30-year-old Hungarian doesn't appear to be enthused about leaving Die Roten Bullen.

"I found my way to Leipzig via England and Salzburg. A lot would have to happen for me to leave this way at my own request," said the ex-Liverpool keeper in an interview with Kicker.

"I feel very comfortable in Leipzig, and so does my family. It's just perfect. I can very well imagine staying here in the long term," he added.

Gulacsi's contract with RB Leipzig lapses in 2023.
