“Everyone’s confident about Roar’s four wins” - Brown

Brisbane Roar have enjoyed four consecutive victories in A-League but Corey Brown believes they have yet to achieve something.

Despite a run of four games with victories in A-League,

Brisbane Roar

know that they have a lot more to gain this season.

Roar are set to face

Macarthur FC

on Tuesday, following their thumping 5-2 victory over

Melbourne

last Saturday. The squad’s confidence has been boosted given the recent outcomes; however, fullback

Corey Brown

insists the season has only started.

"

We're only five games in,

" Brown said.

"

Obviously it's a good start, four wins, but we're not getting too ahead of ourselves.

"We're not thinking about anything more than tomorrow night. It's a good feeling, everyone's confident but we're not looking further past Macarthur."

Roar’s five goals against Melbourne added to their tally of 13 goals in total this season.

As players like Dylan Wenzel-Halls, Scott McDonald, and Riku Danzaki are taking the lead up front, Brown and other players in defence plan to take on their own ambition in the battle against Macarthur.

"

We were a little bit unhappy with the two goals we conceded (against Victory), but that's because we have such high standards for ourselves,

" he said.

"

We expect to defend properly.

"

We haven't got a clean sheet this season, so that's what we're going out to achieve. Hopefully we get one tomorrow night."

Jack Hingert is back in action after he was rested for a corked thigh.

Meanwhile, Macarthur will have Mark Milligan back after he was out of action on Saturday’s drawn clash with West Sydney due to suspension. James Meredith and Charles M'Mombwa, however, are not going to be played.
